Gait Analysis with Sarah Joy Stoker

In this introductory course on Gait Analysis, you will be encouraged to look for and recognize gait (walking) mechanics and patterns. We will talk about the anatomy directly related to gait (spoiler alert – it is not all in the foot or ankle!), the bio-mechanics of gait, their impacts on functional movement, as well as the importance of optimal gait and ways to bring folks closer to it through exercises and identification of patterns/postures.

Open to folks at any stage in their movement teaching/coaching journey. Also open to professionals in adjacent careers, ie. bodyworkers.

Attendees can request a certificate of completion if they are using this workshop towards CECs. 100% attendance is required to receive a certificate.

Workshops will be recorded, and available to watch for one week after each session.
