Gait Analysis with Sarah Joy Stoker

In this introductory course on Gait, you will be encouraged to look for and recognize gait (walking) mechanics and patterns. We will talk about the anatomy directly related to gait (spoiler alert – it is not all in the foot or ankle!), the bio-mechanics of gait, their impacts on functional movement, as well as the importance of optimal gait and ways to bring folks closer to it through exercises and identification of patterns/postures.

Open to folks at any stage in their movement teaching/coaching journey. Also open to professionals in adjacent careers, ie. bodyworkers.

100% live attendance is required in order to receive a Certificate of Completion, which can be used as continuing education credits where applicable. Online Workshops for Teachers are recorded for one week playback.

$56+HST for one 2 hour workshop
