HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR WEIGHT
Base your choice off of what the teacher is using, and the lighter that is, the close you'll stick to their choice, here's a scale you can use to help you pick:
Extra Light: 1-3lbs (use something within 1lb of the teacher's prop)
Light: 4-7lbs (use something within 2lbs of the teacher's prop)
Medium: 8-12lbs (use something within 3lbs of the teacher's prop)
Heavy: 13-18lbs (use something within 5lbs of the teachers prop)
